Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Developer: Infinity Ward
Release date: 25 October 2019

Speaking of returning to the origins, Call of Duty is a series that has a lot of experience. After all the science fiction flights and parallel stories at different times, putting aside the experiment of the Second World War, the choice of the developers was to return to the atmosphere that made the series a worldwide success. So we’re in front of modern battlefields, with realistic environments and gameplay that launched Call of Duty as one of the biggest franchises on the planet. The multiplayer beta has proven that the developers have really rolled up their sleeves, and it promises to be a huge success. That the king of shooters is about to return to the throne? We’ll see if they can solve the latest problems that came out of the tests.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

Developer: Respawn Entertainment
Release date: 15 November 2019

Star Wars games aren’t new, but Jedi Fallen Order wants to try something new. Instead of a shooter or a more general action game, the title of Respawn takes its inspiration from Dark Souls, with a studied and particular combat. Parades and attacks and opponents to which open the defense before hitting make it very interesting, and we are really curious to get our hands on it ourselves. As for the story the game is set shortly after the end of the prequel, with a young Jedi who has escaped to avoid extermination. Desperately trying to avoid the attention of the Empire, the protagonist will have to find a way to save both his skin and that of all his fellow rebels.

Eternal Doom

Developer: id Software
Release date: 22 November 2019

Doom Guy is back, baby! And this time it’s up to us to bring the war directly to the gates of Hell, which unfortunately this time open on planet Earth. The most violent and truculent series in the history of the shooters is back in style, after the excellent reboot/success of a few years ago. The watchword in this case is “more”: more violence, more weapons, more enemies, and more game mechanics thanks to a grappling hook, a shot and other extras that expand even more the possibilities of play. With the ability to invade other players’ games and play as a demon to try to kill them, the game is creating a really spasmodic wait.
